STRONGSTOWN PA-Ron Smithley and Mike Pegher Jr. led the Fastrak late models to the start but it was third place Tommy Snyder who led he first lap. Snyder made a wild move out of the gate to take the lead and set the pace for six laps with Pegher in second and Smithley third. A caution on lap six saw Pegher pit, relinquishing second to Smithley.
The restart saw Pegher at the rear of the field and Smithley second with Daniel Angelicchio third. Angelicchio took second from Smithley on lap eight and set his sights on the leader. As he was catching the leader and beginning to make a move, the caution waved for a spinning John Eckenrod. The restart saw Angelicchio on the inside of Snyder as they ran door to door the next two laps before Pegher spun to cause the latest caution. On the restart, with three laps to go, Angelicchio made it stick going into the third turn as he took the lead from Snyder and Smithley eventually got past the F1 for second. At the finish it was Angelicchio over Smithley, Snyder, Kirby Tucker and Bryan Force. Heat wins went to Tommy Snyder and Mike Pegher.
